Here are some some questions and answers that our members frequently ask.

Question: What days of the week do you play?

Answer: Fall is Sunday's only starting at 11am, Spring games are Mon-Thursday and Saturday at various times

Question: What division will my son or daughter play?

Answer: They will play in a division based on age, not skill. They will play in a division based on age as of April 30, 2024 for Spring 2024

Question: What equipment do you provide to players?

Answer: We supply each player with a jersey and hat. The coach will also be given catchers gear for the season. Players are required to have helmet, bat, cleats, socks, pants, cup, and belt for the season

Question: Can my child be on a team with his friends or other relatives?

Answer: NO..We only allow siblings with proof to be placed on the same team, no exceptions. They also must be of the same age group!

Question: Do you offer multi player discounts?

Answer: No we don't offer multi sibling discounts, but we do offer early bird discounts to help with the overall costs. So sign up early!

Northwest Bakersfield Baseball was established in 1988 by a group of guys who wanted a place for our youth to enjoy the game of baseball. We believe that athletic competition of NWB players should be fun and should also be a significant part of a sound educational program, embodying high standards of ethics and sportsmanship while developing good character and other important life skills. The highest potential of sports is achieved when learning from the T.E.A.M. concept (Teaching, Enforcing, Advocating and Modeling these values). Good-faith efforts to honor the words and spirit of this Code will improve the quality of our programs and the well-being of all teammates.
Northwest Bakersfield Baseball has the right to remove anyone who doesn't follow our code of conduct. We will not tolerate foul language, racism, or any type of threat to anyone at the league. Any such conduct will be reviewed by the board of directors and the individual or individuals in violation of our conduct code, could be banned from participating in future league activities.
